00:00With this Rocket Celtic game in Boston, you know, the Rockets have really, uh, they've been outstanding lately.
00:07They beat the Cavs a couple times, beaten on some of the best teams in basketball.
00:12Well, last night they did it again, they rally in Boston.
00:14114-112 was the final. Here we go, tied late in the final seconds.
00:21A little Amen, Amen Thompson on Space City Home Network.
00:260.3 to go, Thompson, off route, into the lane, got the shot, oh!
00:320.7 to go, Thompson gets the Rockets the lead!
00:36Are you kidding me?
00:38Richard! Oh, the Rockets win the game!
00:42Give the ball right back, you love that.
00:46From Ime Udoka.
00:48Listen, uh, this is very interesting.
00:51Uh, because I think that, you know, I learned a lot about where the league's headed right now, uh, with this game last night.
00:59You know, you talk about watching Oak City play the Cavs in that great back and forth in the land and in Oak City, right?
01:08And then, uh, what the Cavs have been able to do, what the Thunder have been able to do,
01:13what the Rockets have done with Udoka, and this young, talented team that's loaded with Shungun and Amen Thompson and Van Vliet,
01:22they got all these guys that can fill it up.
01:25And then, Jalen Green, it doesn't stop there.
01:28And they're beating the Boston Celtics at the Garden, and I, I was on Boston.
01:35You know, you think that, I said yesterday, they'll get up for this game, this is a good team they're playing, they get up for good teams.
01:42They don't get up for anyone else.
01:44But what I'm seeing, Mike, is, is what went down last night is that the Rockets won the game.
01:50The Rockets got the last possession.
01:52The Rockets got the shot off.
01:54The Rockets knocked it down.
01:56The Rockets walked out with the dub.
01:59And I think that what I'm seeing is a vulnerability in Boston, uh, with the Celtics and all this talk of how great they are
02:07and how they're gonna, you know, just dance right to the finals and, and repeat as champions.
02:13I think these teams in the West, and I mean it, like, and I'm gonna put Memphis in that mix as well.
02:19I know they got their ass clocked by the Knicks.
02:22Now look, the Knicks starting five can play with anybody.
02:26They can play with Boston.
02:28I don't know if they can beat them in a seven-game series, but they can definitely play with them, right?
02:32The Cavs can definitely play with them.
02:34I don't know if they can beat them in a seven-game series.
02:36The difference being is that those teams in the West, Mike, they can beat them.
02:42And they are beating them.
02:44And they just did it last night.
02:46There is a shift going on right now in the power mechanism of the NBA.
02:52And it's the Western teams have now caught the Boston Celtics and the East, and they mean business.
02:59And we've seen it before with Golden State winning all those titles.
03:03Like, let's just face facts.
03:05I know the Celtics won last year, but I think the balance of power shifted to the West again in the NBA.
03:12I'm with you.
03:14I think there's a couple of teams that if they played the Celtics in a seven-game series right now, I'm going West.
03:22There's just a bunch of teams that that's absolutely where I would lay my hat.
03:26Me too.
03:27Thompson had a career-high 33, like we mentioned.
03:30Dylan Brooks tied a franchise record.
03:34He hit 10 threes in the game.
03:37So how about Dylan Brooks being a big contributor for that rocket team?
03:42Ten threes, Jesus.
03:43Ten threes is no joke.
03:45I mean, he hit ten.
03:46I played with a guy last night that hit nine, and my daughter hit nine on Saturday.
03:51Like, I've never hit that many threes in a game in my life, but that's impressive.
03:57Ten threes in an NBA game.
03:59I don't care who does it.
04:00It's impressive.
