The body of a man has been recovered in the Murrumbidgee River, in southern New South Wales ending a search for a missing swimmer.

00:00After a three-day multi-agency search, the body of a missing swimmer was found just after
00:07eight this morning.
00:10The 37-year-old man was reportedly seen to fall from a recreational floating device,
00:15which was being towed by a boat just after 2pm on Sunday.
00:19When he failed to resurface and could not be located, emergency services were notified.
00:25The multi-agency search included NSW Police, NSW Ambulance Paramedics, the State Emergency
00:32Service and the Volunteer Rescue Association.
00:35They focused their search efforts near Bunyipole Campground at the Murrumbidgee Valley National
00:41Park, which is situated on the Murrumbidgee River.
00:44It's a popular spot for this time of year.
00:47The search resumed this morning on day three with police divers in the river before shortly
00:53finding the man.
00:54A crime scene has been established and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
