00:00Yeah, and just looking at Daniel Levy, the situation, I mean, some of the shirts behind
00:06you there sort of signify how close Spurs were to fantastic success, obviously. So much
00:12has happened over the last sort of 10, 15 years at the club. It looked like they were
00:17going in such a great direction. You know, you stemmed as far back as sort of Gareth
00:23Bale, not replacing him properly with that transfer fee, that incredible window they
00:27had with five or six players who went on to barely achieve much for the club. Then
00:33you obviously have the Dele Alli period and Kane's son and Pochettino took them to that
00:38Champions League final. And then the stadium moved and the new situation with that, then
00:44Harry Kane ends up leaving. I mean, it's just sort of, did you feel Daniel Levy sort of
00:49got too comfortable at the top and didn't really reinvest and put some time into really
00:55making the future bright for Spurs? It's, you know, how long has this stemmed back,
01:00this problem with Levy and the fans now finally turning on him?
01:05Well, it's years and years of mismanagement. I mean, you know, to be fair to Daniel Levy,
01:09you've got a lot to thank him for, you know, new training ground, fantastic new stadium.
01:14But it's actually maybe been one of the worst things to happen to Tottenham because we've
01:17got this shiny new stadium, we've got the revenue pouring in and we've become a commercial
01:21cash cow and we've taken our eyes off the ball on the pitch. I think Pochettino once
01:26famously said, you know, we've got a shiny new house, but there's no furniture to go
01:29in it. And we've just taken our eye off the ball on the pitch, you know, and we've been
01:34bailed out time after time, as you say, by the likes of Kane, Son, and we're really paying
01:39the price for it now. You know, I actually thought the recruitment strategy was sort
01:43of working in the last sort of two years. We've signed some really, really good players.
01:47We've proved that you don't have to go out and spend hundreds of millions of pounds on
01:50players, you know, the likes of Vicario, van der Ven, Solanke, you know, decent money,
01:55but not a huge top bracket.
01:58But we just don't do enough. You know, we act, as I say, for a rich club, like we're
02:03completely desperate and we're rubbing two pennies together, you know, and that's just
02:07an absolute disgrace. Daniel Levy should have been lining up three new players for us come
02:12January the 1st to sort this injury crisis out, you know, whatever it takes. If you have
02:16to spend three or four million pounds extra on a player now, you do it to help the team,
02:20help the players, help the fans, you know, the fans that are paying hundreds and hundreds
02:23of pounds, you know, to watch that absolute rubbish that we're being served up with, you
02:29know, because of the players that are on the knees and having to go to the well. I mean,
02:33you saw after the Europa League game, you know, three or four players absolutely on
02:36the knees and the same players are turning out two days later in the Premier League.
02:39And, you know, it was always going to be a case against Leicester that if you don't,
02:43if we weren't out of sight by half time, the second half was always going to be a struggle.
02:47And that's just absolutely how it proved. But, you know, the tides turning, I think,
02:52against Daniel Levy now, which is, you know, even the mainstream media starting to pick
02:55up stories against him. There's a lot of movement, you know, to get him out. It isn't going to
03:00happen. But, you know, what we need to do now is almost Daniel Levy turn to protect
03:06his investment. You know, he runs the club like a business. The business is failing and
03:10that is the football team. So, you know, now he really does need to act and get his hand
03:15in his pocket and sort this mess out as quickly as possible.
