00:00We start with Bristol City, welcoming an in-form Blackburn Rovers side.
00:06So Dan, looking at Bristol City and the Championship table, and obviously a massive, massive win for them last time out at home against Blackburn Rovers,
00:16and another, you know, promotion, play-off contender. It just puts them within one point of each other now, a massive win.
00:24What do you sort of take from this win? I mean, Scott Twain's, you know, continuing to score, continuing to produce these man-in-the-match performances.
00:32Naki Wells in the goals as well, you know, to win the game after Andy Varman equalised for Blackburn.
00:37So, you know, Blackburn have received a lot of credit this season under John Eustace, and a lot of people are talking about how well they've played.
00:46But Bristol City are now just one point, one position off them, and really keeping pressure on those play-off places.
00:53How big is this for Bristol City's season? And, you know, can they continue to push on?
00:59Well, yes, I think is the answer. We've had a lot of criticism for them in recent weeks for their lack of consistency.
01:06Some of the points they've thrown away towards the end of games has been really quite alarming,
01:11but this was as good as a win as they've had all season against a Blackburn Rovers side who have gone away to some teams
01:18and done really well, getting a lot of good three points. And now Bristol City find themselves just one point behind them
01:23and only three points outside of the play-off places in eighth place.
01:27So, a really, really important win. Scott Twain scoring yet another free kick. Quite the set-piece specialist he is.
01:34Then, of course, despite Andy Varman's equaliser, as you say there, Naki Wells, he has a really impressive record against Blackburn Rovers,
01:40and he once again scored against them to give the Robins all three points.
01:46Meanwhile, Bristol Rovers were on the road to face Wigan Athletic.
01:51Wigan away, 2-0 defeat. I mean, we spoke about the game before it and said the teams around them are the ones you really need to make sure you get the three points against.
02:03I know, obviously, it's away from home, so a slight advantage to Wigan Athletic.
02:07But, you know, they're the team who have lost 11 games this season so far. They've not been amazing at all by all means.
02:14They've obviously got loads of financial problems as well, Wigan.
02:17I mean, what do you sort of think of how that game panned out?
02:21It's just a very simple home win for Wigan, it seemed.
02:24Wigan, as we've said there, have not been good this season.
02:27Bristol Rovers were only, you know, a place behind them going into the fixture before kick-off.
02:32And Wigan just made it look as if there was, like, acres between them.
02:37Or maybe it was just Bristol Rovers as well. A bit of both, to be honest.
02:41And for Calderon, I mean, I know he's new into the job, but he's demonstrated, and his players have demonstrated,
02:46that they can all come together and understand the message he's trying to put across in terms of their playing style, their tactics,
02:52and make it work against a really good side.
02:55But you can't just get yourself up for the big games and then not turn up for the other games when you have to be winning,
02:59because there you're bread and butter.
