00:00Well we did a reception about Shores of the North, the two great soaps, which was Coronation Street and of course Emmerdale.
00:08And Coronation Street gave me a cobble, which you would expect for doing the reception.
00:14And believe it or not, Emmerdale said, here's a pair of Wellingtons.
00:17I said, interesting. No, no, this means that you have to come to Emmerdale.
00:22And of course, I took up that challenge. They kept saying, are you going to come?
00:26Absolutely. Let's come along. So I went along and the deal was, I had to wear the Wellingtons.
00:31And of course, we didn't go to Emmerdale the village first, we went straight into the studio.
00:37And the problem was, these were brand new Wellingtons, so they were sprayed with mud, all prepared.
00:43And of course, I walked into the cafe. There I am in the hide, walking in with my Wellingtons,
00:49walking up, getting my strong cup of tea and paying for it and saying thanks for that and walking back out.
00:55That's my big role in Emmerdale.
