Dog Man ist die Adaption der gleichnamigen Bücherreihe über einen Superhelden-Hund und dessen Freunde Li'l Petey, einer Katze, und 80-D, einem Roboter. Zusammen sind sie die Supa Buddies. Dog Man entstand bei einem Unfall, in dem aus einem Polizeihund und seinem Poliziei-Herrchen eine gemeinsame Kreatur wird. Sie beschützen heldenhaft ihre Stadt gegen die Super-Schurkin und Katze Petey.
