00:09It was water instead of fire, but boy, that water did damage.

01:30So up here at the site of the Hughes fire, about 10,000 acres burned over the last 24

01:42hours.

01:43This was a fire that was initiated on federal forest lands, the Angeles National Forest.

01:48I'll remind folks, 57% of all of our forest land in the state of California.

01:54Every one of them said to me they want to rebuild.

01:56I said, will you go elsewhere?

01:58No, no, no, no.

01:59It wasn't even like a question.

02:01They love the area.

02:02They love the people.

02:04It's like a family.

02:06It's incredible, actually, when you see some things like that.

02:08We just left North Carolina and we had just a similar type of disaster.

02:15It was water instead of fire, but boy, that water did damage like I've never seen before.

02:20And then you come here and you see this.

02:23But the people are so amazing and your fire department was so beautiful.

02:28Every one of them is in perfect physical shape.
