00:00I'm extremely proud of the players. You can talk about courage, you can talk about spirit,
00:22but as well about intelligence. The way they managed emotionally the game, it was unbelievable,
00:27especially with what we have to face and how they felt about it. All of them just faced
00:33the situation, the challenge. We went to the second half, the only message was to go out
00:37there and win the game. That's it. If somebody doesn't feel it, don't go. They certainly
00:43did it in a really convincing way to themselves to win the game.
00:46What was your reaction to the red card?
00:54I think it's that obvious that we don't need any comments today and hopefully the right
01:01thing will happen after today.
01:02Did you get an explanation from the club?
01:04No.
01:05Do you think you're going to upheal the red card?
01:09Hopefully we don't need to. If we have to, it happened and it's a really good precedent
01:16what happened with Bruno this season as well. Hopefully we were in a position that we shouldn't
01:23be in. At least let's be in a position that we should be in for the next few weeks and
01:27allow our players to continue to do their job.
01:29When you're chasing a title, winning five or six is great, but what's the value when
01:35you have a result like this where you come to adversity, you grind out, is that something
01:39people want?
01:41That's what they show us every single day. This season has been very special for many
01:45circumstances, a lot of them very challenging. Today we had two, again with Mikel out and
01:51Martin out. Still, we come here, we have to face a very difficult opponent that is fighting
01:57for relegation, we have another issue during the match, still we go about it. That's what
02:02I love about them and I think that's why our supporters as well celebrate it and they were
02:06behind them because they can feel that.
02:09Arsenal have history with this referee and some of the fans, both in the ground and outside
02:14the ground, some of the fans on social media are saying that Arsenal shouldn't come out
02:18for the second half and protest. That's something you have to weigh up. How did you manage to
02:28channel your anger and the players' anger about that decision?
02:32Especially because we put so much work and hours and passion and dedication into what
02:38we do, that regardless of what happens, what is thrown there, you have to continue to have
02:44that desire and that will to win and overcome that situation because if not you're going
02:48to throw it through the window. It's my job, it's our job as well to deal with certain
02:54things and unfortunately we're getting used to it.
02:58If the red card is upheld, I think Myles will miss the Carabao Cup semi-final. How unjust
03:10would that be?
03:12I said that I prefer not to comment on the actual thing. If we cannot change actually
03:18what happened today, hopefully at least it will be fair for the team, for the players
03:24and for everybody what is going to happen in the next few weeks. That's what I'm hoping.
03:29When it comes to looking after goals, the play etc, but after today with the reaction
03:37to the Skelly red card and how you bounced back, does that tick a box in terms of mental
03:42and fortitude?
03:44We're ticking a lot I think this season about that one. I'm not surprised because the will
03:50that the team has to compete, to win, to again show that any context is good for us and we
03:56can adapt to that and we're going to face it. So on that I have no doubt. After the
04:02result you have to go your way as well to make it count and today was the right one.
04:11How often do you train with the team?
04:14How often? The reality, well we play certain contexts of games, scenarios and dreams when
04:21we have overloads, underloads but like that. We don't have time to train so the time that
04:26we have to train, at least I expect we're going to play most of the time with XI. Unfortunately
04:31this has happened too many times but it's not something that we have talked about a lot.
04:36Can we talk about the goal? That's a left back or a centre back, that's not a left back,
04:41that's a centre back.
04:42Finish yeah, like against Man City you know. Ricky can produce these magic moments and
04:48he's done it today. Again it really helped the team so really glad that whoever comes
04:52in on the pitch he has that spirit to make things happen.
