Officer Fired After Shooting Civilian

A man from Florida, USA, accidentally ran a red light, so police officers stopped him and asked him if he had a weapon. He told them that he had a licensed weapon.

They asked him to get out so they could check on the weapon, and while the policewoman was pulling out the gun, she pulled the trigger in a disastrous mistake that caused a bullet to go off and penetrate the man's leg. He was taken to the hospital.

It was later found that the man was carrying the gun legally and had not violated state laws, while the police department decided to fire the policewoman and consider her unqualified to work in this field.
