00:00Good afternoon, it's match day here in Manchester ahead of this evening's Europa League clash
00:07between Manchester United and Rangers at Old Trafford. I'm here outside the National Football
00:13Museum in the northern quarter of the city ahead of tonight's match. I've spoke to a
00:18couple of Rangers fans in town this afternoon, they've been congregating since the early
00:23morning in the city centre and they all seem in relatively bullish mood ahead of tonight's
00:28game. Of course, Rangers head into this one unbeaten in their last three games. They face
00:34a Manchester United side who have been in woeful form this season. They are on a torrid
00:40run at the moment, it's four defeats in their last five at home and seven in their last
00:46ten in total for Ruben Amiran's side. He described his team at the weekend as possibly one of
00:51the worst in the club's history, to which he in his press conference yesterday at Carrington
00:59kind of didn't back down from that, albeit he did kind of defend his players. He has
01:05shouldered some of the blame for their recent struggles. As for Rangers, Filipe Coman, well
01:11he's promised not to park the bus this evening just as Walter Smith did back in 2010 to great
01:18effect when they drew 0-0 here in Manchester in the Champions League. On this occasion,
01:25of course, both teams competing for a place in the last eight matches tonight, they're
01:31currently in seventh, Rangers currently in eighth position in the 36-team league phase
01:36standings heading into this penultimate matchday. And what's sure to be a momentous occasion
01:42tonight, a terrific Battle of Britain clash that of course there'll be plenty of tributes
01:48paid to the late Dennis Law following his sad passing earlier this week, this evening.
01:56So stay tuned to Glasgow World for all the latest coverage from tonight's match.
