00:00Yeah, so originally it was about a new braking system, but to ensure that the lift stays open,
00:06we need to make sure it's financially sustainable. So for example, a new cafe stroke event space,
00:13but space is limited down at the site, so that means a new extension needs doing. So
00:20yeah, it's turned into quite a complex project. Certainly over the last couple of weeks,
00:24there's been vegetation clearance going on, so we can inspect the track a bit more.
00:31This week, we've had CCTV survey of the pipe that runs from the upper station to the lower station,
00:37from the water tanks at the top to the bottom to see the condition of that as to whether we need
00:41a new one, and then various other sort of visual inspections. So people will be seeing more
00:48presence at the site. The project is obviously going to bring back to life this sort of historic
00:52icon, which the community, you know, love. Every time you're down at the lift, people pop in and
00:58sort of ask, you know, when's it opening again? And there's, you know, there's genuine passion
01:03for it. So yeah, it's bringing back that key transport link, but it'll also be great for
01:09visitors, historians, you know, students. We plan to sort of do work with, you know, the sort of
01:16local schools and colleges to sort of show the glory of the, you know, the Victorian engineering.
