00:00Good news for the government officials, the second tranche of salary adjustment is now effective for you.
00:07Based on the National Budget Circular 597 issued by the Department of Budget and Management this Monday,
00:13all government employees will receive new salary rates from the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary and government agencies,
00:22aside from the members of the military and uniformed personnel.
00:25The funds will be collected from the Miscellaneous Personal Benefits Fund and the budget of the agencies under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
00:33According to the DBM, the government corporations will receive funds from their corporate operating budget.
00:40The changes in the budget are part of the implementation of Executive Order No. 64,
00:46which aims to improve the system of compensation for government employees from 2024 to 2027.
