00:00The Fire Basic Recruit Course has already started in Albay Province for those who dream of becoming a firefighter.
00:06Emanuel Bongcodi of Radyo Pilipinas, Albay, has more news for the country.
00:13Fire trainees in Ligao City, Albay, have already gone through this process.
00:17This is where the strict prohibition of any type of hazing
00:20within four months of their training in the NFTI Region 5 Satellite Campus.
00:25At the opening of the Fire Basic Recruit Course,
00:28the National Fire Training Institute has insisted that they be strictly monitored.
00:32According to the NFTI, they will be provided with a monitoring and evaluation tool
00:37to catch and respond to the hazers here.
00:40The NFTI, together with the Bureau of Fire Protection, conducts investigation
00:44and punishes those who are convicted or after proven that they really contacted or did it,
00:51that they were punished.
00:52This year, the FBRC is not only for Region 5,
00:56but it is also open for those in the National Capital Region and Eastern Visayas.
01:01This is where those who dream of becoming a firefighter will be trained
01:04in responding to emergencies in the communities,
01:09such as firefighting, medical response, special rescue operations, and fire prevention lectures.
01:16As you embark on this rigorous yet rewarding training,
01:20remember that you are being prepared to take on one of the most noble profession,
01:27noble responsibilities in our society.
01:31The NFTI also stated that they will continue to protect the safe and humane process of training
01:38for the firefighters of the Bureau of Fire Protection.
