Why didn't the AVENGERS go Back in Time and Find Baby THANOS

If you pay attention, when Hulk was explaining why the idea of killing baby Thanos wouldn’t work, he says something like this in Endgame:

So, in simple terms, if you go to the past and try to change something, it creates a new timeline, and anything you try to change will only affect that new timeline, not the original one. The question is: why didn’t stealing the Infinity Stones create new timelines? Well, it did, but that’s why Captain America went back to the past—to fix those branched timelines by returning the stones at the exact moment they were taken. This is why the TVA (Time Variance Authority) didn’t interfere with the Avengers.
