00:00Now, people are looking forward to the future in America here and what you've had thousands
00:06and thousands and thousands of Trump supporters who've poured into Washington, D.C. for this
00:11day.
00:12As you can see, I'm with one of them here.
00:14What did you make of Trump's speech today, sir?
00:17It was fantastic.
00:18This is what we've been praying for and working for for the last four years, really the last
00:23eight years.
00:24This is the promise to turn around America, make it great again, and the whole world will
00:29benefit from this.
00:30Now, you yourself, you just told me you're involved.
00:33You've been involved in Project 2025.
00:36Can you explain to our viewers what that is and what you hope to achieve with it?
00:39That's right.
00:40I was the director of Project 2025 and it was really a plan to help the next conservative
00:45president be ready on day one, today, in fact, to really move out and take over, reclaim
00:52the administrative state for the people.
00:54This is a popular sovereignty movement that's sweeping across the U.S., but really across
00:59the world.
01:00It's a plan for us to be able to put in place these common sense solutions and really make
01:07the will of the people felt here in Washington.
01:09So basically getting rid of government employees if they don't agree with Donald Trump?
01:14It's not getting rid of them.
01:15It's making sure that they understand who the boss is.
01:18We have three branches of government.
01:20He's the president and he's in charge of the executive branch.
01:24They can either work with the ideas that the people voted for.
01:27The people are ultimately the boss.
01:29We are of the people, by the people, for the people.
01:33So if a certain bureaucrat is against those plans, yes, that bureaucrat needs to step
01:39aside.
01:40And that's really what the reform is about.
01:41What would you say to people from Europe who've been looking at the U.S. and who've been concerned
01:46about U.S. democracy and the way things have been heading in recent years?
01:50Well, this is the best day for them.
01:52This is the restoration of American democracy.
01:55This is really putting the people back in charge.
01:58We've been under a tyranny and that's been played out over the last four years.
02:02People in Europe are suffering from it.
02:04They suffered from COVID.
02:06They suffered from a lot of this green extreme agenda.
02:10And now we're going to return to common sense solutions.
02:13So I guess I would say be not afraid.
02:16That's a phrase we find in a lot of places, namely the Bible.
02:20But you know, in terms of the second Trump, I'd say look forward to peace and prosperity.
02:25And it's going to break out throughout the world.
02:28And January the 6th, 2021, that wasn't something that people need to be concerned about when
02:33they see it?
02:34Not at all.
02:35I think actually they're going to learn the truth about what actually happened and the
02:38role of the government and the opposition parties in really fomenting that.
02:42And President Trump was speaking about that a little bit right after his swearing in.
02:46But you know, that narrative has crashed and burned.
02:50And I think we're going to be able to get back to equal justice under the law.
02:54That's really the key thing.
02:56We are a republic going on its 250th birthday.
03:00And it's so critical that we establish that truism, that equal justice under law.
03:09We understand that President Trump intends to pull the U.S. again out of the Paris climate
03:13accords.
03:14What do you think about that?
03:15Is that true?
03:16Is that something?
03:17Well, he will do it right now as it's configured.
03:21It's extremely unfair to the United States.
03:23It's also counterproductive.
03:24You know, when you have China putting 100 coal-fired energy plants online within a year,
03:32how is anything we do with reduction of CO2 emissions going to make a dent?
03:38It's really a fallacy and the common sense of Trump, I think, is going to really help
03:45the environment in the long run and will help the people and the economy in the immediate
03:49run.
03:50When Trump said today that he was saved by God in his speech, what do you think of that?
03:59I believe it, too.
04:00We prayed.
04:01I mean, a quarter of an inch really spared the free world.
04:05And I think that, you know, he isn't an outwardly religious man or hasn't been in public life.
04:11And I think that any time you survive that real near-death experience is profoundly going
04:18to change someone.
04:19And in him, I do believe the Almighty has played a role.
04:23And you know, this country is really one country under God.
04:27So we have a great – and it's not just a Christian God.
04:31We are people of faith.
04:33But it has, to be sure, a Judeo-Christian bedrock that built this.
04:39And our rights derive from God, not government.
04:42And that's what President Trump gets.
04:45Thank you so much for taking the time to speak to me today.
04:47And I hope you can get inside from the cold.
04:49Mon plaisir, je vous en prie.
04:52Merci beaucoup.
04:53Merci.
04:54Au revoir.
04:55Au revoir.
04:56So there you go.
04:57These are some of the views that we've been hearing all day from Trump supporters.
05:01This is the viewpoint that is now in government in America.
05:06And this is what the next four years, no doubt, will be about here.
05:11And it's just taken beginning in Washington, D.C. today.
05:14Catherine, thank you.
