00:00Mick, we just saw Donald Trump placing his hand on the Bible, swearing the oath of office,
00:06giving that inaugural speech.
00:07The second Trump presidency has now began.
00:10Your immediate thoughts?
00:11Oh, a couple of different thoughts.
00:14I thought the speech was a little bit low key.
00:17Let's talk about the speech.
00:18Let's talk about the policies.
00:19The speech was a little low, more low key than I expected.
00:23The can you not hear me?
00:26I'm sorry.
00:27Yeah, I can hear you.
00:28Please go ahead, Mick.
00:29Oh, I'm sorry.
00:30The speech is a lot more low key than I thought.
00:33Keep in mind, this speech was designed originally to be outdoors in front of a crowd of several
00:37hundred thousand people.
00:38They moved it now indoors to the rotunda, which only holds about 600 people.
00:42It's an entirely different setting.
00:44And it was a little bit lower energy speech than I think you would expect.
00:48That being said, there's not a lot of new material there, something you've been talking
00:51about during the campaign.
00:53The policies, however, as he was giving this speech, the administration put out several
00:58statements regarding some of the policies that he was describing in the speech and the
01:01details on what they would be doing moving forward, specifically on things like immigration
01:06and energy.
01:07We've heard that there could be as many as 200 executive orders issued just today.
01:13So while the speech is going on and now they move into the pomp and circumstance and the
01:17parties and the rallies this afternoon, the policies are already starting to kick in.
