00:00The Commission on Elections is confident that the deadline for the printing of ballots for the May elections is still ahead.

00:14This morning, they made a trusted build again.

00:23Raffy, I'm here in Comelec and Comelec is making a trusted build again for us to add an ad feature in the Election Management System or EMS.

00:37If this is done, a name can be added to the ballot.

00:42This is one senatorial aspirant and seven local aspirants who were added to the ballot after the Supreme Court's decision.

00:52They were able to get a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court based on Comelec's decision to disqualify them or to declare them nuisance or to cancel their Certificate of Candidacy.

01:08The trusted build is the conversion of codes made by programmers to machine-readable codes.

01:16Remember, Comelec stopped the printing of ballots that started on January 6.

01:22Six million ballots were not used because there was no name of the eight people who obtained the TRO and P150 million were wasted because of this.

01:32Even so, Comelec said that they can still catch up with their deadline for printing with the help of four printers of the National Printing Office.

01:41However, Comelec is still waiting for an additional TRO from the Supreme Court to add a name to the ballot.

01:52Now, Rafi is continuing the trusted build and if this is done successfully, Comelec will be able to show the new ballot phase or the new look of the ballot tomorrow.
