00:00We caught a motorcycle thief in Quinta Rizal, arrested in a follow-up operation by two suspects who confessed to the crime.

00:08Always first in the news, EJ Gomez, Exclusive.

00:17The man wore a white T-shirt. Later...

00:21He sat down.

00:23You would think that the man was just passing by.

00:27He was actually targeting the motorcycle that was parked.

00:31He didn't leave the motorcycle.

00:33He's not with him.

00:35He's with him.

00:37He's wearing an umbrella.

00:39They are two of the three suspects in the motorcycle theft in Quinta Rizal.

00:44In another CCTV footage, you can see another man wearing a red T-shirt approaching the target.

00:51They were fighting while the motorcycle was slowly pulling away.

00:56He turned around. I think he's holding something.

01:00He's not in the middle of the road.

01:02It's heavy.

01:06In another footage, the man was seen riding the motorcycle while being pushed by his partner.

01:13In another CCTV footage, they were in the pool on the road while they were both pushing the stolen motorcycle.

01:20It happened in Marangay San Juan last Friday, according to the police.

01:24We have three suspects in the motorcycle theft.

01:28Two of the suspects were arrested and one of them is at large now.

01:35We were about to buy our lunch and we saw that my motorcycle was missing from the parking lot.

01:44The victim immediately went to the marangay and the CCTV footage was reviewed.

01:48A few moments before the theft,

01:50one of the three suspects, Alias III, was seen buying a cigarette from the store.

01:55He was also wanted by the police.

01:57Based on the investigation,

01:59the motorcycle was brought to Pasig after the theft to be sold.

02:04The motorcycle had a problem. It was damaged.

02:07So they abandoned the motorcycle in San Miguel, Pasig.

02:13When the motorcycle was recovered,

02:14I saw that they broke the first tire of the motorcycle so that they can run through the wiring.

02:21The missing suspect, Alias Dodong, who was pushing the motorcycle and was left in the parking lot,

02:26was immediately arrested by the police.

02:28He was the one who taught his partner, Alias Noel, that it's a good idea to look out for the group.

02:35The suspects admitted to the crime.

02:38I went there and sat down.

02:40I waited for them at the wire.

02:44They pushed the motorcycle.

02:46I helped them to drive.

02:48I helped them to push the motorcycle under the wire

02:52so that they can run through it.

03:00I left them there.

03:03According to the police record,

03:04the two suspects were previously jailed for illegal drugs.

03:07While their partner, Alias III, was released on January 16,

03:12a day before they stole the motorcycle.

03:15At the custodial facility of the Kaintan Municipal Police Station in Caniti,

03:19the suspects were faced with the complaint of violation of Republic Act 10883

03:24or New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
