00:12in celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

00:31She has been working in Kuwait as a domestic helper for 3 years.

00:47It's like the Filipinos are free there and the salary is high.

00:53This dream has come true after the joint declaration of intent

00:58between the government of Finland and the Philippines.

01:01This is a sign of a stronger and deeper relationship

01:04and bilateral agreement between the two countries.

01:08This is also part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary

01:12of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

01:15Hundreds of Filipino workers are needed

01:18in what is considered the happiest country in the world.

01:22The salary is around 1,600 euros

01:25or equivalent to more than 90,000 pesos per month

01:36In Finland, the population is aging,

02:59And we're also very happy here in the Philippines.

03:02Upskilling and retraining for Filipino healthcare workers

03:05is also included in the agreement.

03:08The DMW reminded our fellow Filipinos

03:11who want to work abroad

03:13to be careful of illegal recruiters

03:16and to only work with DMW-accredited recruitment agencies

03:20so that they won't be victimized by frauds.

03:23Meanwhile, the DMW also announced

03:26that they will open the Philippine Embassy in Helsinki in September

03:30which is expected to be strengthened

03:32by Finland and the Philippines.
