00:25The video seemingly marks the first time Willis has been spotted in public since 2022,
00:29after his family announced that the actor had initially been diagnosed with the language
00:33disorder aphasia and would be stepping away from acting as a result.
00:37In 2023, the Willis family shared that Bruce had received a more specific diagnosis of
00:42frontotemporal dementia, or FTD.
00:44A statement released by the Willis family at the time said, in part,
00:48FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.
00:52Today, there are no treatments for the disease,
00:55a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead.
00:57Since his diagnosis, Heming Willis has served as the actor's caregiver.
