प्रयागराज, यूपी: प्रयागराज महाकुंभ में रेलवे स्टेशन से लेकर बस स्टैंड और एयरपोर्ट तक हर तरफ संगम में डुबकी लगाने देश-विदेश से लाखों-करोड़ों लोग आ रहे हैं। हर रोज कई ट्रेनों के जरिए हजारों लाखों लोग प्रयागराज पहुंच रहे हैं ऐसे में रेलवे की व्यवस्थाओं की जानकारी देते हुए उत्तरी मध्य रेलवे के सीपीआरओ शशिकांत त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि हम लोगों को पहले से अंदाजा था कि चिकित्सा संबंधी आवश्यकता लोगों को जरूर होगी और इसके लिए रेलवे ने व्यापक स्तर पर तैयारी की थी। हमने लगभग हर स्टेशन के हर प्लेटफॉर्म पर मेडिकल बूथ, यात्री शेड में मेडिकल बूथ बनाए थे। हमारे यहां कोई भी ऐसी स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्या नहीं हुई कि जिसको अप्रिय बताया जा सके। इसके अलावा उन्होंने बताया कि 14 जनवरी को रेलवे ने बड़ा रिकॉर्ड बनाते हुए 101 मेला स्पेशल ट्रेनों का संचालन किया इसके अलावा पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे द्वारा 35 स्पेशल ट्रेनों का और उत्तर रेलवे द्वारा भी 12 स्पेशल ट्रेनों का इस तरह लगभग 150 मेला स्पेशल ट्रेनों का संचालन किया गया।

00:28The 8 stations from which we had to manage the crowd during the first sahi shnaan of Mahakumbh,
00:37we had provided medical booths on almost every platform of every station,
00:41medical booths in Yatri Ashram shed, with doctors and paramedical staff.
00:47Apart from this, we had made observation rooms at all the big stations,
00:53where we had provided facilities like mini ICU,
00:56so that people do not have to go out for secondary treatment from the station premises,
01:03because there is a crowd.
01:05We gave medical treatment to more than 10,000 people.
01:10And we shifted about 2,000 to 2,500 people to our observation rooms,
01:15where secondary level treatment could be given, and made everyone healthy.
01:23We did not have any health related problem, which could be said to be personal.
01:28All people either got well, or by availing the facility of secondary observation, got well again.
01:35Those who were seriously ill, we transferred them to the nearest hospital through the ambulances
01:41in the station premises as soon as possible,
01:47and gave them medical treatment there, and sent them back to their destination.
01:52On 13th and 14th January, there were two main mountains, which are now finished.
01:59Millions of people came from country to country, and they were back to back,
02:04because it was natural for the crowd to accumulate in Sahi shnaan.
02:08If we look at the railway premises, on 14th January,
02:11because till 13th January, the inward traffic pattern was more, people were coming from outside,
02:16and on 14th January, people started moving outward, towards their destination.
02:23And on 14th January, while setting the highest record,
02:29only NCR operated 101 Mela special trains.
02:33Apart from this, 35 special trains were operated by Purvottar Railway,
02:37and 12 special trains were operated by Uttar Railway.
02:40In this way, only 150 Mela special trains were operated.
02:44Apart from this, our regular trains, which run in the number of 200, were running.
02:49So, we evacuated people from here in a very large number.
02:53As soon as we felt the need, we took all our enclosures,
02:58four enclosures for our unreserved class passengers,

03:05we operated all of them simultaneously,
03:09and guided them to their pre-defined platform.
03:14Apart from this, our emergency plan was that if the crowd increases,
03:19and if the need arises, then we will hold people in Khosrow Bagh,
03:24and then guide them to their platform.
03:28We did that and it was completely successful.
03:31The restrictions that we imposed, like we will keep the movement unidirectional,
03:35entry will be only from the city side, and exit will be from the civil line side,
03:39people will be segregated according to colour coding,
03:42and will go to their Yatri Ashrar shed, and will enter again.
03:45The planning of all these railways was completely successful,
03:49and people reached the platform in a guided and controlled way,
03:53and boarded the trains.
03:56Now comes the issue of silence.
03:58As the state government also assumes that the crowd will increase in this.
04:04So the railway is completely ready for that,
04:07and we are improving the things that we have seen.
04:11We are thinking about how to increase the number of trains.
04:15We are working to develop the holding area more,
04:18and to increase the area more.
04:22Apart from this, we felt that,
04:25like this time, the peak period,
04:28was from 10 pm to 2 am.
04:33It was a peak period of 16 hours,
04:36in which we drove the special trains in maximum number,
04:39and people evacuated.
04:41We assume that the duration of this peak period will increase,
04:46it may be 24 hours, 36 hours, or even beyond that.
04:49So according to that, we should be able to drive more trains.
04:53For that, we are making a complete plan,
04:56and arranging the necessary things for that.
04:59For example, demanding for special rakes,
05:02and if more staff is required, then how will we manage that.
05:06We are working on all those things,
05:08and with our excellent planning,
05:11during the Mahakumbh,
05:13we will be able to deliver the trains to their destinations,
05:17in a timely manner.
05:19Cleanliness is our main objective,
05:22to clean the railway area.
05:24For a long time, people have been organizing
05:27cycle rallies, cleanliness rallies,
05:30to make the public aware of the peak period.
05:33We have also received a lot of support from people.
05:36People have become aware,
05:38that they should not use single-use plastic,
05:40and should not pollute the railway area.
05:42Apart from this, we have also organized
05:45more than 1000 cleaners,
05:47to clean the coaches,
05:49and about 2000 workers,
05:51to clean the railway premises.
05:54These people are continuously cleaning the railway premises,
05:58and with the help of people,
06:00we have achieved great success
06:02in keeping the railway area clean.
