Dog Does Cutest Happy Dance Every Time He Visits Grandma

He dances for the sweetest reason — and Grandma even builds him forts to make him feel safe ❤️

00:00Brody is really excited to visit grandma.

00:07The moment we pull out our suitcases to pass for a trip, he knows it's time for his weekend adventure with her.

00:13His happy dance begins.

00:16We rescued Brody when he was only a few months old.

00:19We were told he wouldn't have made it through the week had we not adopted him when we did.

00:24It didn't take long before we noticed he was moving in some funny ways and after several vet visits and some extensive testing,

00:31we learned he has cerebellar hypoplasia, which makes him walk a little differently and makes him a little off-balance.

00:36It's honestly kind of cute and aside from that, he's a happy lovable dog and is always ready for fun.

00:43One of his absolute favorite things?

00:46Definitely going to his grandma's house.

00:48Racing to the car, tail wagging like crazy and ready to see his favorite person.

00:54My mom.

01:01He races past the other dogs straight to her just to say hello and then the fun begins.

01:08First up, lots of cuddles and lots of kisses. Brody follows grandma everywhere.

01:12He's basically her little shadow. When it rains, she builds him cozy forts to snuggle in so he's not scared and under her bed,

01:19there's a special little place just for him where he gets tucked away so he feels safe when he sleeps since his condition

01:25often makes him feel anxious.

01:31Grandma's always ready to help him with anything. She'll hold his food bowl for him so he doesn't get too tired and so does grandpa.

01:40She helps him drink water

01:43and gives him extra treats even when she's not supposed to.

01:46Now here's the funniest part. Grandma's dogs aren't allowed on the furniture, but Brody, oh, he's the VIP.

01:53And when it's time to leave and head back home, you can just tell he's not ready.

01:58He's not excited to get in the car, which, if I'm being totally honest, kind of hurts her feelings.

02:06And he drags his feet before walking back inside our house.

02:09We like to say maybe he's just tired, but then he just sits and he waits counting the days until his next visit with grandma.
