00:00That report released today by Special Counsel Jack Smith says that the US
00:05President-elect Donald Trump would have been convicted for his alleged effort to
00:09overturn the 2020 election if he hadn't been re-elected in November and then
00:14he'd probably be in prison by the sounds of things. Does that all sound about
00:17right to you? Sounds right to me. I don't think there's any question but that the
00:22evidence here was overwhelming. It ranged from testimony from people like his
00:28Vice President Mike Pence to others that worked in the White House. I just don't
00:35think there was any chance that he would avoid conviction which is why he fought
00:39so hard to delay the case, argue for presidential immunity and do everything
00:45he could to make sure that the case never went to trial.
