00:00But the fact that Hamas has been severely weakened during, you know, these last 15 months
00:08or so, I mean, doesn't that mean that Hamas' negotiating position has been severely weakened
00:14as well?
00:15It has, but they have the hostages, 98 hostages they're holding on to.
00:19And even though they don't have a strong military anymore and they can hardly shoot rockets
00:23at Israel, they certainly don't threaten Israel militarily anymore.
00:28As long as there's an Israeli military present in Gaza, they have guerrilla activities that
00:32are killing Israeli soldiers almost every day.
00:35And they could continue to do that for quite a long period of time.
00:40Enough suffering has happened.
00:41Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, 2 million homeless people in Gaza
00:45right now with no homes to return to, and hundreds of Israeli soldiers who have lost
00:49their war in the extra months of fighting.
00:52This should have ended a long time ago.
00:54Hamas will not be able to rule Gaza after this war.
00:56Everyone knows it.
00:57Hamas knows it as well.
00:59A single dollar of international aid won't enter into Gaza if Hamas is in charge there.
01:04And everyone's talking about the day after, except for Israel, and that's consequential
01:09because Israel needs to agree whatever is going to happen there.
01:12Israel cannot control Gaza, Israel cannot remain in Gaza.
01:15This war has to end.
01:16The hostages have to come home, and the price to pay for Israel is also releasing a large
01:21number of Palestinian prisoners that it doesn't want to release, but it will have to do that.
