00:00Well, the handwriting was on the wall, as we had reported this back in November, that

00:05Jessica Simpson had met with, or actually associates of hers, had conversations with

00:12two different divorce lawyers in town.

00:14Well now, she says that she and Erica actually have been living apart for some time.

00:19They are separated and they are getting divorced, and she said that this was a painful time

00:26for them, obviously, but they have decided they are going to split up after 10 years.

00:33It's interesting that this apparently has been going on for a while now, and they chose

00:41not to address it, which is fine.

00:42I'm sure they're dealing with the kids and whatnot, but it is just interesting the way

00:48it seems to work in Hollywood, that sometimes they separate, they're not wearing their rings,

00:54they're leading separate lives, and you can kind of see it.

00:57But they're not saying it yet for various reasons.

01:01And just back in November, Jessica had teased a comeback, and it seemed to be fueled by

01:18So immediately when she posted that, people were like, uh-oh, something is going on, and

01:23now we know for sure, they're done.
