03:18just a great place to raise some kids i got two great little boys we'd ride
03:22our bikes along here i used to say to my wife like la is

03:29you know your music guys i'm just a normal guy who built a business
03:33and you know living here you felt like a normal person
03:38my stomach is just sinking
03:48i bought myself a nice car it was in the garage
03:51i got the kids to safety we stealthed in my neighbor text me and said
03:56how do we get out i'm like chris this way we got chris the neighbor

05:53on record that's when insurers started cancelling plans
05:57leaving thousands of these homeowners without cover
06:01most of my neighbors don't have insurance and you guys aren't fully
06:05we're no we're low on cover like we're super low on cover so this is gonna
06:10financially set me back a lot but you don't even care now you're in a state
06:14where you're just like you know what i need to get my boys into
06:17a school where they feel comfortable and that's
06:22all i care about i feel like this something like this is
06:24going to change the entire landscape because if they stopped insuring people
06:28after malibu imagine how many i mean it might be
06:31absolutely impossible to get insurance after this and that's what i'm worried
06:34about what do i do with this land i got i got rubble now
06:38um you know i have mortgages like everyone else
06:41and who's going to be able to you know buy that land off me if we decide to head
06:45back to australia we're deciding whether we're going to
06:48go to a different part of america like what what are we doing how does the
06:52next person have a life in the palestine what does that look like i
06:55think for us we're going to go back to australia and
06:58sort of reset a little bit i need to see mom and dad you know i need
07:02to get my kids around man and pop you know
07:05get back to my support network here and i just feel like the dreams in on
07:11park for the moment but um you know you just
07:15come back bigger and stronger and um you know it's too much of a beautiful
07:20place to not be back one day
