00:09For AMU, National Youth Day 2025 was proven to be historic.

00:12As far as we know, for the first time in AMU, to celebrate National Youth Day,

00:18students came in large numbers and in large quantities,

00:21and to install the statue of Swami Vivekananda in AMU,

00:26we created a petition to sign it in large numbers.

00:29We got it addressed to the Honorable President of India,

00:32Shri Matri Hidra Upadhyay Munmu ji,

00:34because she is a visitor to Aligarh Muslim University.

00:37We have sent four copies to the Honorable Prime Minister of India,

00:40Honorable Education Minister of India,

00:43Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh,

00:45and Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

00:48What is your demand?

00:50Our demand is that National Youth Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

00:57And there can be no epicenter of youth more than university campuses.

01:01So in university campuses, like Aligarh Muslim University,

01:04which is an institute of national importance,

01:08if the statue of Swami Vivekananda is installed there,

01:12it will send a message to the youth and they will get inspiration to do something for the country.

01:17Similarly, other central universities like University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University

01:22also have statues of Swami Vivekananda.

01:25Regarding this, AMU should also follow this

01:28and install the statue of Swami Vivekananda in AMU.
