00:00They have a tendency many a time it so happens that the pilgrims actually climb on to high
00:06rise buildings and trees and all that and this has led to many accidents and mishaps
00:12in the yesteryears.
00:13We don't want that to happen.
00:15So what we have done is we have actually demarcated around ten odd viewpoints specially in Sannidhanam
00:22and surrounding areas and some other places like Parandambara, Panchali Medan all in Idikki
00:28has also been demarcated where we have efficient and sufficient police deployment for the same.
00:35Pilgrims who want to view Makara Jyoti what they should do is they should confine themselves
00:40to these locations where the police actually have told them to be there.
00:44So and after that we have actually demarcated outflow pathways for you know the pilgrims
00:51to go out.
00:52You know one is actually through the Bailey Bridge on the left side, on the other side
00:56there is a flyover there which doesn't have any connection with the main sanctum sanctorum.
01:04So they can independently go out and they should do it at the earliest without causing
01:08a rush.
01:09I mean they should not rush but they should be steadily paced so that you know there is
01:13no any kind of mishaps on the way and what we envisage is that you know they should actually
01:20get down to Pampad the earliest and there would be a fleet of buses waiting for them
01:24over there.
01:25If they have their own vehicles they should get to their vehicles at the earliest and
01:29they should or else they should get into their own, the buses which are waiting over there
01:35and evacuate the area at the earliest.
01:39The pilgrimage season would be complete in every way only if all the pilgrims who have
01:43come here get back to their respective houses in a very safe manner.
01:48So this is what we are looking at.
01:49So this is the appeal to the public at large and I think the media person also should carry
01:54this message across the states, across the states.
01:58So more so because you know it's not Malayalis who actually thronged this place during this
02:03Magara Jyoti darshan time, it's more from you know the other states also, the southern
02:08states mostly and actually this has actually become a global pilgrimage centre over the
02:14last few years.
02:16So everybody should ensure that they get back safe to their respective houses and you know
02:20to the people who are actually waiting for them over there.
02:22So this is actually going to be the culmination of this very hectic season over here but by
02:28and large heading the police force we are quite happy to say that you know it was rather
02:35complaint free season this time.
02:37So that's all from my side.
02:38I hope everybody has a good darshan.
02:46What are the precautions that the police took this pilgrimage season in Sabarimala?
02:53To cut a long story short, we are working our hearts out and we are continuously appealing
02:57to the public and of course the Lord to take care and he's actually taking care and we
03:04have done our planning well and if as it has happened till yesterday and today, all the
03:11departments converge in a synergetic fashion as it has happened over the last two to two
03:16and a half months and if all the pilgrims abide by what we are saying.
03:19I don't envisage any kind of problems regarding security or safety.
03:24Everybody should go back home safe.
03:26Thank you very much.
