00:00You see, as you are aware that the Ministry of Defence every year invites special guests
00:06from all over the country. When I am referring to special guests, the people who have contributed
00:11significantly to the development of the nation in various walks of life.
00:15Who are then invited for witnessing the Republic Day celebrations at New Delhi on the Kartavya Path.
00:22Accordingly this year, workers from the Border Roads Organizations, workers from PAN India
00:27have been invited to witness these celebrations, the Republic Day celebrations at New Delhi.
00:34Accordingly from our project, a total of 20 workers, when I say workers I mean these
00:40casually paid labourers who are from the far flung areas.
00:44We are making arrangements for them to go and witness the Republic Day parade at New Delhi.
00:50This is not only to acknowledge the contribution of these workers in nation building.
00:58But also give an opportunity to them to go and witness the heart of India. They are from our national foundation.
01:04They are people who work with the Border Roads on a daily basis with us and undertake various
01:09construction activities as part of our road construction process.
01:14Yes, these people are in fact the Border Road itself by virtue of their employment.
01:21Carries out road construction activities in some of the most inhospitable and the most inaccessible areas.
01:27And our construction activities to a very large extent are facilitated by these workers.
01:33Who are from those areas and therefore they also are in these remotest areas of India.
01:39So, it is a great opportunity for these people to travel from these far flung areas.
01:44And go and witness the kind of growth that India is today undergoing.
01:49And also to acknowledge the contribution that they themselves have made through their efforts.
01:55In making India, in leading to India's growth story.
