01:24The pilot reportedly aborted an initial landing attempt due to a bird strike and crashed on
01:29the second approach when the landing gear failed to deploy.
01:32Lead investigator Lee Seung-yeol disclosed this week that feathers were discovered in
01:37one of the plane's engines.
01:39However, he cautioned that a bird strike alone may not immediately result in engine failure.
01:45Authorities have raided Muan airport offices and Jeju Air's Seoul headquarters as part
01:49of the probe.
01:51Additionally, Jeju Air's CEO has been barred from leaving the country.
01:56Rival political parties have formed a joint task force to investigate the incident, and
02:01Transport Minister Park Sang-woo offered his resignation earlier this week.
