Police set checkpoint along Katipunan Ave. ahead of midterm election period

Officers from QCPD Station 9 set up a checkpoint along Katipunan Extension in Quezon City on Saturday, Jan. 11, marking the first day of the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) nationwide checkpoint operations. These checkpoints will remain in place until June 12, coinciding with the election period. Their main objective is to enforce the election gun ban, promoting a peaceful and orderly electoral process.
