00:00you
00:30well we have just completed the 18th pravasibhatiya devas convention and you know I have myself
00:56attended many of them, some as minister, some as secretary, some as ambassador and I must
01:05tell you I felt that this time in many ways it was a very good PPT, it was very well organized,
01:14the feedback from the pravasis was very good, the sense we got from our partner which is
01:21state government of Odisha was again something which was very appreciative, they felt okay this
01:29was a forum, people came, it allowed them to present the state in a way and if I myself took
01:38the you know the larger purpose of what the PPT event is about, it is a kind of a gathering,
01:48you are trying to bring people from different parts of the world all together, there is a
01:55certain in fact I would say almost intermixture between them, interaction between them that was
02:03very very lively and you saw you know there were four exhibitions, one presenting Odisha state,
02:14one on how actually the epic of Ramayana has played out in different countries,
02:22one on the maritime movement of the diaspora particularly from the western coast to Amman
02:30but other parts to Trinidad to Bago to Mauritius etc and there was one on the contribution which
02:36PIOs and NRIs had made, so I felt look the exhibitions were well done, the gathering
02:45was lively, the panels were you know quite active, I think you saw I attended one of them most of the
02:52time I was meeting individual delegates or in groups but I felt that the Nari Shakti one I
02:57attended was you know I saw a lot of people, lot of interest, so I think there is a sort of good
03:06cause to be satisfied about it but having said that you know we always improve with every event,
03:14we take feedback, we ask people where we fell short, we ask people what they think you know
03:22they could do better, so it's a kind of know your customer, seek your customer kind of endeavor.
