00:00in the next four or five years and I hope all of you will be a part of this journey,
00:09a part of this growth story. It's not very ambitious.
00:13If I have to double in five years, we're really looking at only 14, 15% growth
00:18and given the way this industry is growing worldwide, I'm sure three years from now,
00:25you will all come back and tell us, we've already doubled the India engagement
00:31with the rest of the world. But it's something where we seek
00:35your participation, your partnership, your good ideas and whatever we can do
00:42from government to help make this happen. We are all very, very committed to all of you,
00:49to your world, to your businesses. It's great to have an exchange
00:53and interaction with all of you today. I missed out on this edition for scheduling issues.
01:00The calendar was not permitting it. But I do hope the next time around,
01:04Mohit will invite me a little bit in advance and make sure that I'm able to come and enjoy.
01:10As he was trying to, of course, be partial to the chefs today,
01:17but I wish I could come to all the events that you have organized
01:21at all the different venues. Enjoy the machinery where you are using,
01:26which you are using to make this happen. Enjoy the wonderful work the chefs have done.
01:31Enjoy the offerings that different countries have brought to India.
01:35And I'm sure next time around, we'll have many, many more countries
01:41and many, many more companies from around the world who will participate in this program.
01:51I must say, we have 100% foreign direct investment permitted in India in this field,
01:58save and accept probably liquor. Liquor is not allowed, is it? Liquor is also allowed.
02:03Oh, jeez. So in every element of your value chain, 100% foreign direct investment,
02:11foreign investment, foreign ownership, foreign managements are allowed.
02:16We give work permits also very easily for those who would like to come and work in India
02:21or set up businesses in India. We have also had a very successful government program
02:28to promote the food processing sector, which has done us very well.
02:36We are looking at expanding our testing laboratories all over the country,
02:41food testing laboratories. If any of you have ideas on what equipment,
02:47what kind of tests will help us ensure the hygiene or ensure genuine organic products
03:03being sold in India or high-value, high-quality good offerings for our people,
03:11we would love to get your suggestions what is required for high-quality testing
03:17and laboratory facilities. We'd like to invite all of you to also visit other parts of India
03:26and savour the taste or savour the local flavours that are available
03:32across the length and breadth of India, whether on this visit or on subsequent visits.
03:38In fact, many hotels and restaurants are tying up with chefs around the world
03:44and inviting them through specific seasons or specific festival times
03:50to come, add value to the Indian taste, possibly also train other Indian chefs,
03:59and it would be a great experience for you also to learn what's done in Kerala,
04:07what's done in Punjab, what's done in the northeastern states.
04:11So I would urge all of you to see what you can do, how you can continue to remain engaged
04:18with the India story. There's a lot of innovation happening in your industry also,
04:23and I do hope India, Indian companies, and our partners will all continue to bring
04:30global standards, continue to bring newer innovations to India, and at the same time,
04:38take new products from India to the world. Millets is one thing we have promoted
04:44in recent times, which has become quite popular in many parts of the world.
04:50Our pickles, our spices, different products have found traction across the world.
