Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg has been entrusted to lead the country in the interim as negotiations to form the country's new leading coalition continue.

00:13Schellenberg, 55, is stepping in after conservative Chancellor Karl Nehammer, part of the Austrian
00:20People's Party, announced his resignation last weekend.
00:25Nehammer decided to step down after failing to form a coalition without including the
00:31far-right Freedom Party.
00:33But following Nehammer's resignation, his Austrian People's Party reversed its stance
00:39and is now open to working with the far-right Freedom Party, led by Herbert Kickl.
00:46The interim leader of the People's Party, Christian Stocker, said he will meet with
00:51Kickl.
00:52He will be Schellenberg's second brief term as Austria's leader.
