00:38The only friend that I know of from the day 77 or 80 or 82 is an ex-hippie, he's now 60.
00:45He doesn't skate, but he never turns down an offer to go to a show.
00:49Whether it's some dingy warehouse or a club set in a mini-mall, he's game.
00:53I don't play an instrument, so I thought I'd ask the hippie this question, and I asked
00:57him, what's wrong with us?
00:59And he said, well, we aren't dead yet.
01:12So this is really an exploration and sharing with my favorite local bands.
01:19So I decided to ask them a bunch of questions that might help me come up with an answer.
01:41This motherfucker moved from Brooklyn to start an LA hardcore band when LA hardcore was not
01:48happening in LA at all in 2001.
01:52I joined in the summer of 2002 when we were called The Problem, and there was, these two
