00:00The silver stuff behind your radiators that reflects the heat back out is brilliant.
00:04It's really cheap, really easy to put in and works absolutely brilliantly.
00:09Wearing hats indoors, there's nothing wrong with that.
00:11So having, you know, lots of nice woolly hats and things is perfectly good.
00:15And cats, cats are great because they can come and sit on you and keep you warm,
00:20which also makes you feel happy as well.
00:23A good old-fashioned hot water bottle is a good idea sometimes.
00:26I mean, I know it's an old-fashioned thing, but a lot of people swear by them.
00:29And luxury blankets, of course.
00:31The industry I work in is fitness and everything,
00:33so keeping warm, I go to the gym, things like that.
00:36I don't really put the heating on, I think most people don't too much,
00:39so just putting a few extra layers on isn't too bad.
00:43And if I'm cold, I just get a hot shower.
00:46I've had chill blades the last couple of years
00:48and I've tried different things to try and stop that.
00:51So lots of layers and gloves and socks is good,
00:54but the main thing I found works is making sure you moisturise
00:58and then it's less likely to blister and hurt.
01:00Make sure winter tyres, obviously.
01:02I'm not saying put metal around your tyres, for instance,
01:06because we're not living in Canada, we're not in Scandinavian countries.
01:10But if we're talking about snow specifically,
01:13that's landed on your car, for example, your windshield, here's a tip for you.
01:16If you have a windblower, honestly, it takes it off in seconds.
01:19Windblower is absolutely incredible for cars.
01:21De-icing the car, I don't know where I read it,
01:23but I get a plastic bag, put some warm water in it
01:26and just rub it up and down the window screen, done.
01:28Bills are included in my student price,
01:30so we stick the heating on, which we're quite fortunate to.
01:34I'm at work a lot, so work's always got the heating on,
01:37so it's probably how I'm just trying to keep active when I can.
01:40Drink your tea, drink your coffee, whatever keeps you warm.
01:43Have a hot meal, you know.
01:45Actually, go to the gym.
01:47Just go to the gym, exercise, whether that's cardio, weights, whatever.
01:51And my friend actually got me to do this at the start of 2024,
01:55because, again, we had winter spikes in there.
01:58Sauna, absolutely incredible.
