02:03Iranian state media said she had violated the laws of the Islamic Republic, but the
02:08case soon turned political.

06:05Donald Trump Jr. made a surprise visit to Greenland.
06:09His trip comes as tensions are heightened after his father, U.S. President-elect Donald
06:13Trump Jr. sparked a controversy as he expressed his intent of controlling Greenland.
06:19Many reporters flooded the capital's Nuuk airport upon hearing the news of his visit
06:23with one question on their mind.
06:25Why are you here?
06:26Here as tourists, seeing it, it looks like an incredible place we've been talking about
06:30going for a while.
06:31I was actually supposed to be here last spring for some of the stuff I do in my free time,
06:35but just really excited to be here.
06:39Shortly after Trump's arrival in Greenland, Trump Sr. held a press conference at his Florida
06:44Mar-a-Lago estate, adding fuel to the fire.
06:48Trump reaffirmed his interest in seizing Greenland, refusing to rule out the use of military and
06:53economic force to achieve that objective.
06:56I can't assure you, you're talking about Panama and Greenland, no I can't assure you on either
07:01of those two.
07:02He's even ramped up threats to Denmark, warning Copenhagen against not complying with Washington's
07:07bid to purchase the island.
07:09If Denmark wants to get to a conclusion, but nobody knows if they even have any right title
07:15or interest, the people are going to probably vote for independence or to come into the
07:19United States.
07:20But if they did, if they did do that, then I would tariff Denmark at a very high level.
07:27Denmark's prime minister reacted to the new developments, reaffirming Copenhagen's unwavering
07:32position of Greenland not being for sale.
07:35Greenland is a very, very proud people.
07:40It's a language, it's a culture, it's a population that is its own.
07:46And as the chairman of the NAD, Mojahed Jure, said, Greenland is not for sale.
07:52The United States is our absolute closest ally.
07:55We would always like to work closer with the Americans.
07:58This applies to all defense and security policy issues.
08:02It also applies to North Atlanta, where tensions are rising.
08:06And we have seen with Western eyes a very clear interest in that it is the United States,
08:10when it comes to the whole area, that it is the United States that plays a big role and not.
08:18This isn't the first time Washington had attempted to gain control of Greenland.
08:23In 1946, U.S. officials offered Denmark $100 million worth of gold bars to take ownership
08:29of the world's largest island.
08:32And just like it failed back then, Danish and Greenlandic officials say it won't work
08:36this time either.

08:58The 39th President of the United States returned to the nation's capital almost 44 years after
09:03his defeat in the 1980 U.S. election to be honored in death.
09:08Emotional supporters lined up outside police barricades to witness the moment his casket
09:13entered the Capitol building.
09:15I actually met Jimmy Carter in Japan many years ago at a reception, where he was there
09:24campaigning with the Japanese for his campaign against the guinea worm, which he eradicated
09:30this amazing, not amazing, but this horrible disease, childhood disease in Africa.
09:36So I just feel it's really important to honor him.
09:42The late President's remains were carried into the Capitol by U.S. troops.
09:48His casket, draped in an American flag, was laid down in the center of the Capitol Rotunda.
09:54Members of Congress from both parties and Vice President Kamala Harris gathered around
09:59his casket to pay their respects and eulogize the former president.
10:03Today we gather to begin a final farewell to Jimmy Carter, Navy veteran, peanut farmer,
10:10governor of Georgia, and President of the United States.
10:15We all know that his care for humanity didn't stop at building homes.
10:18In the face of illness, President Jimmy Carter brought life-saving medicine.
10:22In the face of conflict, he brokered peace.
10:25In the face of discrimination, he reminded us that we are all made in the image of God.
10:32James Earl Carter, Jr. loved our country.
10:38He lived his faith.
10:41He served the people.
10:45And he left the world better than he found it.
10:51Jimmy Carter's funeral is set for Thursday in Washington.
10:54U.S. President Joe Biden will be in attendance and is scheduled to deliver a eulogy.

11:17football team.

11:26Deschamps led France to victory in the 2018 World Cup and helped the team reach the final
11:32in the 2022 World Cup and at the 2016 European Championships.
11:37He also led the team to a Nations League title in 2021.
