01:01in Bel Air is a haven for antique home lovers.
01:04The house is like something you'd
01:06see in an extravagant period piece,
01:08popping with period furnishings, bright colors,
01:11and winding staircases.
01:13It reportedly contained nine bathrooms, five fireplaces,
01:17a wine cellar, 300 framed comic book covers,
01:21and even a library and a 35-seat theater.

01:31Cage reportedly purchased the house for $6.5 million
01:34back in 1998 and sold it in 2010 for $10.5 million.
01:40Number nine, Taylor Swift.
01:42In 2015, pop legend Taylor Swift purchased a Beverly Hills
01:47house for $25 million that was once owned by Samuel Goldwyn.
01:51You know, the G in MGM?
01:54Located behind the Beverly Hills Hotel,
01:56the estate commands almost two acres of land,
01:59upon which sits a six-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion.
02:02The mansion is Georgian revival and measures
02:04at nearly 11,000 square feet.
02:07It contains seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms,
02:10a sweeping foyer staircase, a tennis court,
02:13and a screening room.
02:14The house is also particularly old-fashioned,
02:17complete with antique desks, the original hardwood floors,
02:20a wood-burning fireplace, and a triple set of French doors.
02:24It's certainly a place where she can party
02:27with all the famous friends she made on tour.
02:31She can party like she's 22.
02:33Swift still owns the home, and after completing
02:36some significant renovations, it was
02:38made into a National Historic Landmark in 2017.
02:41Number eight, Naomi Campbell.
02:44From 2008 to 2013, Naomi Campbell
02:47dated Russian businessman and billionaire Vladislav Dornin.
02:51In 2011, Dornin purchased a particularly unique house
02:55for Campbell's 41st birthday.
02:57Located on Cleopatra Island in Turkey's Gulf of Gokova,
03:01the house is dome-shaped and looks
03:03like the Egyptian Eye of Horus from the air.
03:06The home is completely self-sustainable,
03:08complete with a geothermal system and photovoltaic panels.
03:12The real name of Cleopatra Island is Sidiche Island,
03:15and it's said that Marc Anthony and Cleopatra
03:17used to swim on its exceptional beaches,
03:20and that Anthony personally had the sand shipped from Egypt.
03:23Regardless of that story's veracity,
03:26there's no denying the exceptional originality
03:28of the Eye of Horus house.
03:30Number seven, Elton John.
03:33This iconic English singer can't do anything
03:35without making it extravagant,
03:37and that goes for his living arrangements, too.
03:39Looking over Elton's outfit, and just there's,
03:43every inch of you has another amazing moment.
03:46Located in Beverly Hills, John's house
03:49was reportedly built in the 1960s
03:51and is a true art lover's dream.
03:54The decor includes a pink lacquer cocktail table,
03:57neon word signs, custom tables and chairs,
04:00and tons of unique vintage art.
04:03The house measures in at 5,000 square feet
04:05and features unique mid-century architecture,
04:08which John's husband, David Furnish,
04:11proudly says, quote, is quintessential LA.
04:14It's just one of the couple's many, many houses,
04:17as they also own property in places
04:19like Atlanta, France, and Italy.
04:22Number six, LeBron James.
04:24Throughout much of the 2010s,
04:26LeBron James alternated between Miami and Cleveland.
04:29James and the Cavaliers pushing,
04:30tempo, wow!
04:32Punching it out of Miami with two hands.
04:35Beginning in 2018, James began playing
04:38for the Los Angeles Lakers,
04:39and with a new team came a new house.
04:42In 2020, James purchased a new Beverly Hills mansion
04:45for a whopping $37 million.
04:48The estate spans over two acres
04:50and is built in a Mediterranean style.
04:52Former residents include Howard Hughes
04:55and Catherine Hepburn.
04:56You seem quite contemptuous of me all of a sudden.
05:00It contains a screening room with a wood-burning fireplace,
05:03a carpeted library, an indoor-outdoor living room,
05:07a tennis court, and a palm tree-lined motor court
05:10leading up to the house,
05:11not to mention the magnificent view of downtown Los Angeles.
05:16This is what four NBA championships buys you.
05:18Number five, Lenny Kravitz.
05:20Welcome to my fazenda.
05:22Come on, boy.
05:23This musician and four-time Grammy winner
05:25told Architectural Digest, quote,
05:27"'I'm done with the hustle and bustle.
05:29I'm going to be a farmer.'"
05:31So he purchased a farm compound in Brazil.
05:34The plantation dates back to the 18th century
05:37where it used to produce coffee.
05:38Located near Rio, the plantation covers 1,000 acres
05:42and consists of numerous separate farmhouses,
05:45buildings, and amenities.
05:47I think everybody thought I was crazy.
05:49Yeah.
05:49But I think this trip has-
05:51It's kind of cemented.
05:52Has proven that this was the right thing to do.
05:57These include a gym, a soccer field, a recording studio,
06:00and an area specifically dedicated to barbecuing.
06:03The property also contains acres upon acres
06:06of natural beauty, providing Kravitz
06:08with an expansive and serene place to unwind.
06:12When I came here, I mean, I didn't know anything,
06:15but that's the beauty in life sometimes.
06:17You go for something that you didn't expect.
06:19Number four, Beyonce and Jay-Z.
06:22It's really no surprise that Beyonce and Jay-Z
06:25own one of the most luxurious homes in the entire world.
06:28Back in August of 2017, the couple purchased
06:31a Bel Air mansion for an unbelievable $90 million.
06:35In fact, this home purchase was reportedly
06:38the largest single transaction
06:39in Los Angeles throughout 2017.
06:42Luckily for them, that $90 million is on full display.
06:46The home comes equipped with a full basketball court,
06:48a 15-car garage, a full spa, four outdoor pools,
06:53including an infinity pool,
06:55a movie theater, and even staff quarters.
06:57It's more of a complex than a house,
06:59but that's what one would expect
07:01from a near $1 million price tag.
07:04Number three, Kim Kardashian.
07:07The entire Kardashian-Jenner family lives lavishly,
07:10including Kylie Jenner, who has lived
07:12in numerous extravagant mansions throughout Los Angeles.
07:15But of course, it's Kim's, and before their divorce,
07:18also Kanye West's, house that draws the most attention.
07:22The couple purchased a mansion back in 2014
07:25for $20 million, and it contains all the fixings
07:28a rich and famous couple could ever hope for.
07:31Pretty cool, right, Klai?
07:32These include five walk-in fridges, two kitchens,
07:37a TV that emerges from the floor,
07:39and massive walk-in closets.
07:41The home is also notable for being weirdly minimalist,
07:44complete with a near-empty foyer,
07:46empty church-like hallways, plain tables,
07:49pale hardwood floors, and an all-white color scheme.
07:52You can practically hear the echoes.
07:55Maybe I could just move in here at a modest rent.
07:58Is that possible?
07:59Yeah, you could just rent out our bathtub, actually.
08:03Lady Gaga.
08:04Back in 2014, Lady Gaga purchased a beachside mansion
08:08in Malibu for a reported $22.5 million.
08:11Spanning six acres and just over 10,000 square feet,
08:15the old and rustic house comes equipped
08:17with a wine cellar, a movie theater, horse stables,
08:20and even a bowling alley from the 1960s.
08:23Perhaps most gorgeous are the views,
08:26as the house is bordered by the Pacific Ocean
08:28and the gorgeous Santa Monica Mountains
08:30that run through Malibu.
08:32It's certainly not the outrageous house
08:33we were expecting from Lady Gaga,
08:35but it's a gorgeous piece of land
08:37and architecture nevertheless.
08:39Before we unveil our number one pick,
08:41here are some honorable mentions.
08:44Mel Gibson, 6,500-square-foot medieval mansion
08:47in the greenery of Malibu.
08:49Every inch of the 16,000-square-foot residence
08:52has a Middle Ages feel,
08:54from the great room with stained glass windows
08:57to the library's oak paneling
08:59that dates back to the 1600s.
09:02Even the game room feels medieval.
09:05Julia Roberts, sold Hawaiian beachfront home

09:36We're at the, we're looking over Neverland.
09:42This is what he considered as the ultimate joy,
09:45the ultimate happiness, the ultimate wonderment,
09:49the ultimate peace.
09:50The iconic pop artist owned
09:52what is perhaps the most famous celebrity property
09:54in the world.
09:55Located in Santa Barbara County,
09:57near the Los Padres National Forest,
09:59Neverland Ranch was bought by Jackson in 1988.
10:03It's like a fairy land.
10:04It's all fairy lights and there's beautiful lakes
10:08that are all lit up and the house is all lit up.
10:11It was just amazing.
10:12Spanning an area of 2,700 acres,
10:16the property contained three railroads, a petting zoo,
10:19and Jackson's own private amusement park,
10:22complete with a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster,
10:24bumper cars, arcade games, and a carousel.
10:27Following Jackson's death,
10:29the area was renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch
10:32and was put up for sale for $100 million.
10:35However, there was a significant lack of interest
10:37and the property was eventually purchased in 2020
10:40by one of Jackson's family friends for $22 million.
10:44Billionaire businessman and owner
10:46of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Ron Burkle,
10:48bought the property, which sits in Los Olivos.
