00:00Currently, a western disturbance has just passed over North India and following the
00:29western disturbance, we had very strong north-westerly winds.
00:33But because of that, there was a layer of fog initially and that fog prevented temperatures
00:42from falling.
00:43Today, what has happened is, yesterday there was a very strong north-westerly wind and
00:49because of that, throughout North India, fog conditions have significantly reduced today
00:54morning compared to yesterday.
00:56But today, what we are expecting is the winds will reduce in speed.
01:01So fog conditions will increase today as compared to tonight and tomorrow morning as compared
01:08to today morning.
01:10Along with this, temperatures, because the sky has been mostly clear, temperatures have
01:16fallen by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius over most parts of North India and we are expecting
01:21further fall by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius over remaining parts of North India.
01:26From tomorrow, as the winds will weaken, south-easterly wind flow will start.
01:32Because of that, we are expecting that the temperatures will start to rise, moisture
01:37will increase and this will start increasing the minimum temperatures while also increasing
01:43the probability of fog.
01:45So if you see the fog warning, we are giving very dense fog likelihood for Punjab, Haryana,
01:51Uttar Pradesh, including Delhi, tomorrow morning with an orange alert and we are also
01:56expecting day after tomorrow, it may reduce slightly because temperatures are likely to
02:00increase further and but still very dense fog warning is given for this North Indian
02:06region.
02:07We are also expecting dense fog tomorrow morning over the entire North Indian plains, starting
02:12from North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, North Madhya Pradesh,
02:18Bihar, Sabimalan, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalayaan, Nagalayan, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura.
02:24This entire northern belt will get fog conditions.
02:27But we are not expecting much of cold wave in the sense that maybe tomorrow temperatures
02:33will fall slightly more but after that another fresh active western disturbance is coming
02:38because of which temperatures will start rising again.
02:41Are we expecting any change in temperature in Southern India?
02:45Over Southern India, mostly not much significant temperature change is there.
02:52But southeasterly wind flow is starting over the entire Indian mainland because of which
02:57entire say Telangana, Vidarbha, this northern parts of peninsular India where the minimum
03:02temperature is a problem, there also we are expecting temperature will start to rise.
03:08Overall if you see entire North India, maybe after 24 to 48 hours, not North, entire Indian
03:14region after 24 to 48 hours, we are expecting large scale rising trend in temperature.
