00:00A new floor has been added to the campus where we are living now.
00:07The management has already spent 22 crore rupees
00:13and we are the only university in Smart City to get land.
00:17This is a very good news.
00:20As soon as we got the land, we didn't get the physical possession yet.
00:23Within a year or two, Iqbal University Jharkhand
00:27will be the first university in Smart City.
00:35We have got 10.28 acres of land there.
00:38We will have a hostel there and all facilities will be better.
00:43Apart from this, the new things we are planning to do
00:48is a professional certification program.
00:51Along with normal graduation,
00:54there are many programs for extra skill development.
00:58These are for all three streams,
01:00law, management and science and technology.
01:03Today, HO is considering this very seriously
01:08because NEP has given a lot of stress to industry orientation,
01:13tie-up with industry,
01:15we are appointing industry professionals as a professor of practice.
01:22We have integrated all the MOUs in different programs,
01:28in seminars, workshops, faculty development programs.
01:33These programs will continue throughout the year.
01:36I would like to give two examples.
01:41There is a company called Grand Thrompton
01:44which is planning to tie-up many management programs
01:49as a certification program and value addition
01:53in BBA and MBA.
01:57Their presentation will be with our Honorable President
02:01in Hyderabad on 15th.
02:03Another requirement in Jharkhand area is
02:08of paramedical courses,
02:10which is not happening anywhere else.
02:13There is a company called Virohan,
02:16which is based in Gurgaon.
02:18We are planning to tie-up with them as well.
02:20Their presentation is on 24th January.
02:23If this tie-up is done,
02:25we can orient our students in many different areas
02:30and we are encouraging job-oriented and skill-oriented programs.
02:35Our placement program is very successful.
02:40Internships are given to students after every event semester
02:44except first year.
02:45Placement is also arranged in the final semester.
02:50In training and placement,
02:54we have tie-up with 2-3 companies
02:58to prepare them for interviews
03:01or to prepare them for CVs,
03:03which is normal these days and also in NAP.
03:06We are also providing avenues for competition.
03:14So that our students not only get a wholesome education,
03:19but also get a good job and employment.
03:24This is our effort for the whole of Jharkhand.
03:27We are trying to cover everything.
03:32We are thankful to the present government
03:37and our management for giving us this opportunity.
