00:44that Dabby game which came through the fixer fine but you know having to play Yilmaz at right back
00:50Stirling in the middle it's not too practical for Clement and when Stirling went off at the weekend
00:56obviously it was Leon King coming in, again you can maybe see he's a bit similar to Welsh in terms
01:01of he's been in the picture for a while but just not a lot of game time and he's played up to a
01:07decent level with Scotland too so whether again Lewis he maybe looks to try and bring him and
01:12again obviously you've spoken about that gap at the top of the table you know in terms of what
01:18the priority is towards you know the rest of the month obviously Rangers there's the expectation
01:22to win games of football but to bring in somebody for the youth set up who has looked okay whenever
01:27he's fed to Rangers they might like to do that but I know there's a couple of names that are.
01:32Yeah so just touching on those names then you've got Bam O'Meaty who's emerged just over the last
01:3824 hours or so plays his football for Marseille in Liguria and he's valued at around nine million
01:44pounds so you'd imagine at this stage unless it's a loan deal that that would be fairly unrealistic
01:49given that we know Rangers don't have a big transfer kitty to spend in January that's
01:54been made evidently clear. The other two names that have been mentioned in the last couple of
01:59days is Johnny Evans from Manchester United, highly dependable figure and vastly experienced
02:05could come in and shore up that back line I guess but I mean you're asking a lot for a guy of his
02:11age to maybe play in the games. Especially when you've also got somebody in the building like
02:15Baligan who will eventually come back obviously Baligan 36 Evans 37 it's not very practical is it?
02:23Again I mean from what I've watched in Johnny Evans this season he still looks
02:27okay he doesn't look like a 37 year old footballer but again what kind of money would he be looking
02:34on to come up to Ivorox he'll be in decent money at Old Trafford I know he kind of was
02:39without a club started training with United and then came in there came under the picture
02:44under Ten Hag of course it's all been changed at Old Trafford since then. I believe he's a
02:49big Rangers fan though so you do wonder if that could have an impact. It could but you just don't
02:55know with this if Manchester United need him which they actually might do I would imagine he'll be
03:02at Old Trafford until the end of the season. And Ryan Porteous is the other name which given his
03:07time in Scottish football previously I know he's rather unsettled and not enjoying life at Watford
03:12at this moment in time but he was somewhat of a pantomime villain wasn't he up here during his
03:17time at Hibs so again another one you wouldn't be convinced at this stage. I think you know
03:24you know yourself in terms of any transfer window whether it be the summer or the winter
03:28there's always these names that bandied about Porteous I wouldn't be surprised if he just
03:32becomes one of those and gets linked back but again you know Scotland international I know it's
03:38not really worked out probably how we'd have hoped it at Watford but yeah I just want to keep an eye
03:43on but you know certainly in terms of where Rangers are at just now they will be looking
03:50I would imagine to bring in somebody just to give a wee bit of exit at that back four. And in an
03:55attacking sense one name who has been heavily linked ever since he became a free agent
04:04is Ryan Kent now a Rangers fans will be well aware of this man's talents albeit the reaction
04:12seems to be fairly mixed around this one Declan purely on the fact that a lot of Rangers fans
04:19kind of feel he really downed tools in that final year of his contract at Ibrox obviously went out
04:24to Turkey spent 16 months out there ill-fated to say the least very few first team appearances
04:31wasn't fancied by Jose Mourinho has been a free agent now for a couple of months and still on the
04:37lookout for a club there was even talks that he's back actually back in living in Glasgow again
04:42and so but a player that Filipe Comonte has gone on the record saying that he previously
04:48tried to sign so given his current situation would this not be a bit of a no-brainer?
04:56It probably is a no-brainer if he is looking for the transfer and Rangers are willing to sign him
05:03when he goes in and that team with the way the system plays where he plays when they can attend
05:09is where you would imagine he goes who drops out because obviously you know Chernie
05:13has had a great season so far in terms of you know goals and assists and he's come back and
05:18he's come back in and looked the part too for Rangers so certainly in that department they look
05:23kind of well stocked to getting a man hydrated the weekend and whatever else so it just depends
05:30what kind of wages as well can be looking at you can't imagine him coming in for
05:36you know 15 grand a week I'm sure would probably be up there as one of the
05:42at the top here but certainly one of the higher earners of the club and
05:45depending on where Rangers are at financially in terms of their kitty for this January window
05:51whether that position is a priority I'm not too sure yeah yeah it's a good point I think
05:56there has been other names banded around two Croatian players in particular Marco Soldo
06:02who's a more of the kind of defensive minded midfielder he'd be around 2.4 million and Leon
06:07Belcar is more of an actual number 10 both playing back in their homeland in the Croatian
06:12top flight at this moment in time but yeah Ryan Kent is the interesting one here we will have
06:19suitors in January as undoubtedly you know a player of his quality doesn't become available
