00:00So Adam we're outside your flat here in Bodmin which started to collapse
00:04yesterday and the roads been closed off and it looks like the building might be
00:08condemned. I mean how has this affected you? Well basically as the building has
00:13been condemned I've been told I'm not allowed to set foot back into my
00:16property. I have pets in there, snakes and cats that the house cats they've never
00:22seen, they've never been outside or anything so I'm worried about them.
00:25My snakes are just behind the window as you can see where the damage is. I've
00:29feel like the building you know it's got to go at some point I mean they
00:33obviously won't let it go but I warned the council that the building was moving
00:37and the damage was happening when the builders were in next door and no one
00:40listened and as you can see they should have they should have really listened to
00:44me now because that's going to be thousands, hundreds of thousands pounds
00:46of repair. The roads is going to be closed for God knows how long for for
00:52the work to be done you know because it's a Grade 2 listed building so it's
00:55going to be put back to the way it was if it was knocked down or anything like
00:58that or rebuilt but yeah I can't live in there at the moment so I'm staying with a couple of
01:03friends at the moment who put me up on their sofa which isn't which isn't
01:06ideal for me it's not ideal for my pets and you know there's no place like home
01:12as they say do you know I mean I just want to be in my home so this is really
01:16unfortunate for me and yeah the council just haven't listened to anything any
01:19warnings that I gave them last year when the builders were in next door.
