01:26That's a serious fight in front of us.
01:28And I know what that fight's all about.
01:30I remember meeting seniors in our country who told me that they are living in pain because
01:36they can't fix their teeth, they can't get their teeth looked after.
01:40And to hear heartbreaking stories from these seniors, I remember one in particular told
01:44me she's got to choose between eating and sleeping because if she eats at night, she's
01:49in so much pain she can't fall asleep.
01:52And if she wants to sleep at night, she has to skip a meal, not eat dinner, go to bed
01:57hungry.
01:58I promised those seniors that I would fight like hell to make sure they could actually
02:03get their teeth looked after.
02:04And the Liberals said no at every turn.
02:07We proposed solutions.
02:09We proposed ideas to get this done.
02:11They said no.
02:12Even when we convinced them to move forward with dental care, they said it would take
02:18a decade to put in place.
02:19We said no, seniors need this now.
02:22We fought hard and we delivered it.
02:24So if Canadians give us a chance, give us the honor of leading this country, we're
02:27going to do exactly that.
02:29Fight for you.
02:30Fight greedy CEOs who are ripping you off when you buy your groceries.
02:34Fight to make sure you can actually afford a home.

04:36They said we can't treat our teeth.
04:39We live in pain because we can't treat our teeth.
04:44I found it unacceptable.
04:46It broke my heart to hear stories like that.
04:49So, I committed to guaranteeing dental care for these elderly people.
04:55And every time we proposed solutions, the Liberals said no.
05:00They rejected the ideas.
05:02But I'm not backing down from the challenges.
05:05We continued to fight for people.
05:09And I know that's the energy we need right now.
05:12We're fighting for people.
05:14So, if you're afraid of the Conservative cuts of Pierre Paulieff,
05:18if you think it's unacceptable for the rich to continue to earn more and more
05:22and the middle class to lose,

08:46he met with over 100 corporate lobbyists.
08:48He had fundraiser after fundraiser
08:50in wealthy mansions, $17 million mansions,
08:52where he made it clear who he's going to work for.
08:54The richest CEOs.
08:56That's who he wants to work for.
08:58What I've been doing is fighting for Canadians
09:00to make sure seniors can actually
09:02get their teeth looked after,
09:04to make sure people can afford their medication,
09:06to protect workers.
09:08That's what we've done.
09:10That's what Pierre Polyev has been up to,
09:12so the choice is clear in the next election.
09:14I can tell you, for New Democrats and for me personally,
09:16we spent the past two years fighting.
09:18We had to fight every step of the way.
09:20Every victory we secured for Canadians
09:22was a battle, was an all-out brawl.
09:24We fought to bring in dental care.
09:26Just to remind folks,
09:28the Liberals voted against it multiple times.
09:30They said no again and again.
09:32Even when we convinced them to move forward,
09:34they said it's going to take a decade to put in place.
09:36We fought back and secured these things.
09:38They weren't going to move forward on protection for workers.
09:40We forced them to do so.
09:42They weren't going to move forward on pharmacare.

09:50One of the things that's left for me is how much Justin Trudeau
09:52was close to his family and to his kids.
