01:30I welcome the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Abdullahi.
01:35Friends, India has made rapid progress in connectivity since the beginning of 2035.
01:46Yesterday, I had a wonderful experience of Namo Bharat Railway in Delhi NCR.
01:57Today, crores of rupees have been invested in development and expansion.
02:09In Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.
02:14In Purang, Odisha.
02:17And in South, Telangana.
02:22Today, for a large part of the country, there is a huge gap in terms of new age connectivity.
02:34Friends, our Jammu and Kashmir is setting a new record in rail infrastructure.
02:46Udampur, Srinagar, Baramulla, Rail Line.
02:50This is being discussed all over the country.
02:54This scheme will connect Jammu and Kashmir with other parts of India even better.
03:06Under this scheme, the world's tallest railway arch bridge, Srinagar Bridge, has been completed.
03:19Anji Khaddu Bridge, which is India's first cable-based rail bridge, is also part of this scheme.
03:35These two are the best examples of engineering.
03:39They will make a great progress in this area.
03:44And we will get a lot of prosperity.
03:47First of all, I would like to congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the construction of this new railway division.
03:58The 6th Jammu and Kashmir Railway Division will be constructed under the name of Uttar Rail Naradan Railway.
04:04And I am confident that the Jammu and Kashmir railway system will achieve new heights for the future generations.
04:13And in the coming days, Kashmir will also be connected to Indian Railways through Kanyakumari.
04:21That dream will also be fulfilled by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
04:26One more thing I would like to tell you.
04:29In today's time, Jammu and Kashmir is planning to build railways worth Rs. 46,000 crores.
04:37And I have seen that in the last few years, whether it is the rail connectivity of Jammu and Kashmir, road connectivity or air connectivity, there has been a big change.
04:48Today, projects worth Rs. 1.5 lakh crores of highway and tunnel are under construction in Jammu and Kashmir.
04:54And four days from today, the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Srinagar, will inaugurate the Jedmore Tunnel.
05:10Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.
05:15This is a matter of coincidence and my personal good fortune.
05:21The first government that I was in, had perhaps the last big program before the elections.
05:30And in this government, after the elections, the first big program was the inauguration of the Katra Railway Station.
05:43And the first big program in this government was the inauguration of the Jammu Railway Division.
05:49Both were initiated by Mr. Narendra Modi.
05:54And both proved to be very beneficial for Jammu and Kashmir.
06:00The people of Jammu and Kashmir have been coming to the Jammu Railway Division for a long time.
06:07Since the Railway Division was initiated in Jammu,
06:12the Parliament, the Assembly, the government, the elected representatives, and the officials have repeatedly demanded that Jammu should get its Railway Division.
06:27And today, on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, I would like to thank the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, and the Railway Minister, Mr. Vaishnav, from the bottom of my heart.
06:40Today, the Railway Division will be initiated by the Prime Minister.
06:46The responsibilities of the Railway Division are now being fulfilled.
06:49One is that it is expected that Srinagar and Katra will be fully connected to the railways.
06:57But along with that, the work to increase the network of the railways,
07:02whether in Jammu or Kashmir,
07:06the work to connect Haramallah with Kupara and other places,
07:11will now be the responsibility of the Railway Division.
07:14With the presence of the Railway Division, it is expected that the people who will benefit from this project,
07:21the people who will benefit from this project,
07:24it will be easier for them to maintain a relationship with the project,
07:28it will be easier for them to consult with the project,
07:31and it will be easier for them to contribute to the progress.
07:35I know that our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi,
07:40is working very hard to connect Jammu and Kashmir through connectivity and transport.
07:49Whether it is through the railways, which is a very big proof of Jammu's Railway Division,
07:55whether it is through the roads,
07:58which is being done by the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway,
08:03which is being done by the Jammu-Srinagar Highway,
08:09which is being done by the Jammu-Kashmir Tunnel,
08:13through the Z-More Tunnel and Zabila Tunnel,
08:16and which is being done by the airport expansion.
08:19The work on Jammu has started,
08:21it is expected that the work on Srinagar will start soon.
08:25The benefit of all this will be that
08:28through Jammu-Kashmir's connectivity and transport network,
08:32it will be easier for us to connect the people of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the world,
08:38and it is expected that the work on all these things will be completed soon.
08:43But on this occasion, on behalf of myself, on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,
08:48I would like to thank the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, from the bottom of my heart for this division,
08:55and I would like to congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
08:58Thank you very much. Jai Hind Jammu and Kashmir.
