00:00Today, the printing of more than 70 million balotas for the election 2025 will start.

00:06We have the first news, Darlene Cai.

00:12This is what the balotas will look like in the election 2025.

00:17The font style of the names of the candidates is bold so that it's easier to see.

00:21The colors are also more harmonious compared to the ones used in the election 2022.

00:26There are also security marks.

00:28The Commission on Elections has selected one of the 1,667 ballot-phase templates

00:34that will be the basis for printing the balotas.

00:37After the Law Department, within the day,

00:39they will finish everything and return it to our ITD group.

00:45So, what is the next step that they will do?

00:48They will implement everything, encode everything.

00:51After that, they will serialize it.

00:54That is the serial number.

00:56There is a distinct and specific serial number for each balota.

01:03so that all the candidates and voters can check it.

01:08that the names of the disqualified or declared nuisance candidates are removed

01:12as long as the decision of the Comilec is final and executory.

02:04for the training of all poll workers.

02:07It will not be completed in training

02:09because each member of the electoral board needs to be DOSD certified.

02:13They are being tested and examined.
