00:04The issue, I mean, EG always brings the energy. It was great to have him back. He just brings a lot

00:10of energy to the defense, to the team as a whole. He plays good in the run and the pass, so it was

00:15just good to have him back. And then on the interception, losing cover too. I didn't get any

00:20vertical threats to my side as a deep half, so I was just reading the quarterback and he took me to

00:26the middle of the field, so I just made a play.

00:32Question for both players. Tell me what your experience was like this week in Las Vegas

00:37enjoying the bowl game.

00:41The bowl committee did an amazing job. I think the hospitality was second to none. I definitely

00:46enjoyed my time in Vegas, but I'm definitely ready to get back to LA.

00:50Yeah, I can second that. I mean, I love the shoes that they gave us. They gave us some Kobe's.

00:54I appreciate that, and I can hoop in some good shoes now. And I like seeing the Spear too. That

01:00was a good experience that I just sent pictures to my mom and my dad. They love stuff like that,

01:05so it was a great week out here for sure.

01:11Coach, can you share your thoughts on the delay of game penalty call before the game winning

01:14touchdown? Yeah, it was kind of a unique situation. We had a sub issue on the sideline.

01:24We had a miscommunication on a personnel grouping, and so I knew there was a chance that they would

01:29sub it, but I didn't really want to play the play with 10 players. We had one timeout left at that

01:37point, and we just decided, you know, look, don't use the timeout now because then you get

01:43shorthanded on what you can call, you know, and I would rather have played it from the... I think

01:47we're on the two. I would rather have played it from the seven with a timeout than from the two

01:53without one, and that's just kind of... that was the conversation. Do we use a timeout, or do we

01:58just hope they don't sub? And even if they do, we just have to take the delay, but it was the right

02:02call. They made the right call. It was an error on our part that shouldn't have happened, but I think

02:08we did the right thing in being able to play it out because then we, you know, were able to call

02:12anything we wanted with that timeout in the pocket.
