00:00Russia has lost an important market. It has been transporting gas through Ukraine since
00:061991. How much will this impact Russia economically? We know Russia is already suffering from soaring
00:14inflation.
00:15Well, in fact, the gas transit through Ukraine has been going on much longer and it has already
00:21been cut down seriously since 2022. The full stop of the last transit volumes through Ukraine
00:34means that Russia is losing, well, not insignificant volumes, export volumes and income, maybe
00:425-6 billion euros a year. So that is very important, especially for the Russian gas
00:48company Gazprom, who already has big financial problems because the European market has contracted
00:56so drastically.
