00:00A family in Santa Maria, Bulacan is celebrating its new year with a big celebration.

00:08They are being called to justice following the death of their 11-year-old son after a car crashed.

00:17Jaime Santos is a witness.

00:22That young man was crossing the road when he was hit by a red car.

00:27Due to the impact, some residents were killed.

00:30But the driver of the car did not stop and did not help the victim.

00:36It happened at 7 p.m. on December 28 in Celeste, Guyong, Santa Maria, Bulacan.

00:42The victim is 11-year-old JV.

00:45I just saw my brother crashed.

00:48I immediately rushed to the hospital.

00:51I did not wait for an ambulance.

00:53Two days later, the child came back to life.

00:57His mother did not leave JV's side.

01:01It was painful for us.

01:03That's how it is. We were just together.

01:06Then, in a blink of an eye, he was gone.

01:17I don't know if our new year will be happy because we lost a brother.

01:22As of now, the driver is still not found.

01:25According to the victim's brother,

01:27the broken mirror of the car where the RFID sticker was attached was left in the area.

01:32The family of the victim was also able to get the CCTV footage

01:36when they left the red car and headed to the direction of the town of Santa Maria.

01:40The CCTV was given by the owner of the CCTV to the victim's family

01:46to help in the investigation.

01:48It was also seen by the police.

01:50But the Santa Maria Bulacan Police Station refused to give a statement.

01:55They are still continuing their investigation to find the driver of the car.
