वाराणसी, उत्तर प्रदेश: वाराणसी के अस्सी घाट पर नए साल की पहली गंगा आरती देखने के लिए भक्तों की भीड़ पहुंची। उत्साही भक्तों ने नए साल के अवसर पर गंगा मां से जीवन में सुख-शांति की प्रार्थना की और मंदिरों में दर्शन कर भगवान से आशीर्वाद लिया। सुबह-ए-बनारस गंगा आरती के आयोजक रत्नेश वर्मा ने कहा कि इस आरती के माध्यम से हम नव वर्षों का स्वागत करते हैं, जो जीवन और सृजन को आकार देने वाली शक्तियों के सार का प्रतीक है। वैदिक मंत्रों पर आधारित यह आरती सार्वभौमिक महत्व रखती है और बनारस की वैश्विक आध्यात्मिक प्रमुखता को दर्शाती है।
