This is the moment three yobs armed with poles vandalised a parked car - in a case of "mistaken identity".
Logan Heasman, 22, has had his electric Peugeot 208 damaged twice in one month.
The first incident took place on December 12 outside his home in Darenth, Kent, where his windscreen was smashed - which he only discovered when he tried to go to work the next day.
This attack in Paddock Close inspired Mr Heasman to install a surveillance camera, which caught a second incident of the same nature at around 10.10pm on December 23.
The video evidence of the latest offence shows the moment three men surround the vehicle as one man jumps onto the bonnet before intentionally smashing the windscreen with his foot.
Two of the perpetrators can then be seen smashing the car with what appears to be a metal pole or stick.
But Mr Heasman believes it is "mistaken identity".
He said: “I seem to be being targeted but I don’t really speak to people around the area as I work in central London.
“I am mainly frustrated that I don’t know why this has happened. I believe it’s a case of mistaken identity.”
Mr Heasman says as soon as he noticed the men on December 23 he ran out - but by the time he left the building the perpetrators were gone.
Now, his car has been written off due to the extent of the damage which he says has made his life “much more difficult”.
Kent Police said its officers are investigating.
A spokesman said: “The vehicle was parked and unattended when it is alleged three men smashed the windscreen and damaged panels before running from the scene.
“The victim’s car was also damaged earlier in the month and inquiries are underway to identify those responsible.”
Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are urged to check for any footage that may help.
